Photos: GVF proprietor Steve Marshall was brought up in Manchester and moved to South Devon in November 1962. Has been a train nut since around 1958 and the photo (below) shows him standing next to a personal favourite, 70014 IRON DUKE, at Manchester Trafford Park sheds in 1959, aged 9. Not sure what the HSE would say about this now!
In the top photograph Steve is seen proudly displaying a very appropriate nameplate he spotted in a collection.
