Below are some scenes taken from the DVD.



The good old days in North Wales and the year of 1999 saw many no-heat examples on passenger workings.
Here 37250 departs from Prestatyn on 27 May 1999 with the 1423 Birmingham-Holyhead



Newton Abbot and a rare working captured on film on 14 August 1999 was 37174 on a rake of Virging MkII coaches forming the 1001 Paignton-Newcastle



Raising the roof at Teignmouth is 37264 hauling a HST set as the heavily delayed 0922 Penzance-Edinburgh of 12 August 1999.



Two visiting class 37s, 37219+37370, are seen on clay duty at Parkandillack, Cornwall, on 13 August 1999.



The Royal Scotsman passes through Morpeth on 24 August 1999 with 37675 in charge.



Although common in the 1980s, 37s are now extremely rare at the northern outpost of Wick.
In this scene a battered 37682 with 37667 at the rear brings weekiller train 7Z07 0700 Thurso-Wick-Inverness
into the station on 19 May 2000.



Amongst the most spectacular shots on any of our programmes are the scenes from France during the construction of the new TGV line south from Valence.
Double and triple headers were common and with gradients as steep as 1 in 30 the sound was truly awesome!
Here 3 stalwatrs - 37100, 37046 & 37077 head back to base at Eurre close to Montelimar in South-East France.
