25161+25042 make an outrageous racket as they attempt to restart a returning Plymouth to Liverpool railtour at Warrington low level on 26 November 1983.
Class 26s and 27s shared duties on the Dundee to Glasgow trains. Here 26031 leaves Dundee with one such service circa 1980.
One of the regular performers, 27012, leaves Dundee with an Edinburgh train.
Local engine 31288 passes Gateshead depot with a freight in 1978. Notice the variety of traction residing on the depot.
Later to become 33104, Class 33 No 6516 arrives at Bournemouth station on 1st July 1967 with a Weymouth to Waterloo service.
D7044 passes Lawrence Hill styation, Bristol on 5 May 1973 with a Cardiff to Portsmouth service.
37676+37896 near Hellifield on 28 Feb 2004 with a Kings Cross to Carlisle charter.
40057 arrives at Abergele on 27 April 1983 with the 1349 Bangor-Manchester Victoria service.
D820 Grenville departs from Birmingham Snow Hill with a special circa 1964
GNER liveried pass Lunan, near Montrose on 4 September 2004 with the 0955 Aberdeen-Kings Cross.
45125 passes Ravensthorpe on 18 July 1983 with a cross-Pennine service.
47373 pulls away from a signal check at Chinley North Jn in September 1988 with an ecs bound for Longsight.

50029 passes with the 0905 Brighton-Plymouth on 14 July 1990.
D1072 Western Glory shunts parcels stock at Penzance on 26 Sept 1975.
